Common Dexis 10 Issues

Black screen when launching the camera?
If the camera is only displaying a black screen, this is likely due to a webcam being on the PC. If a webcam is present, Dexis will default to it. To resolve this with Dexis 10, you will need to open the device manager and disable the webcam or integrated camera on the PC. Dexis should now default to the MouthWatch camera.

Button works but freezes after capturing?
Verify “Dexis 10” is selected from the MouthWatch Capture software. If you have an older version of MouthWatch Capture, you will select “T” instead of “Dexis 10”.

DirectShow error message appearing when launching camera?
Verify that VMR9 Rendering is unchecked in the Dexis video settings.
