Getting Started with Your MouthWatch Intraoral Camera
MouthWatch intraoral cameras easily integrate with your dental imaging software. Follow the steps below to install and configure your camera properly.
Step 1 – Download & Install MouthWatch Button Capture

Your camera packaging includes the current installation password required during setup.
Step 2 – Configure MouthWatch Button Capture
- After installation on a Windows PC, locate the MouthWatch icon in your system tray (bottom right of your screen near the clock, volume, and network icons).
- Right-click the icon. It will appear orange if the camera is not plugged in, or blue once the camera is connected.
- Left-click the name of your imaging software from the menu.
If you do not see the MouthWatch icon, click the ^ arrow to expand the System Tray. You can drag the icon down to your Taskbar for easier access in the future.
Step 3 – Configure Your Digital Imaging Software
Select the guide below for your specific imaging software. Each guide includes step-by-step instructions to configure your system settings properly.
Step 4 – Plug in Your Intraoral Camera
Connect your camera to a powered USB port. Once connected and configured, you’re ready to begin capturing intraoral images.
You're All Set!
You should now be able to start taking intraoral photos directly into your imaging software.
