The Messages tab allows providers to send secure messages to providers in their group and to their patients. Providers are able to share images and treatment plans as well. A patient record must be created before you are able to communicate through the patient portal
Sending a Message to a Patient
A message can be initiated from the patient record or the Messages tab. From the patient record click Message Patient to open the messaging tab.
Text can be entered in the text box, use the icon to send.
You can send recorded audio, recorded video, attachments (documents/images) and previously collected data by using the various icons in the text box.
Messages can also be initiated from the Messages Tab in the navigation bar.
Click on the Messages tab, click +New Message.
Start typing the name of the recipient and select from the list.
The recipient’s name will be displayed at the top of the message screen.
Provider to Provider Messaging
Providers can securely message other providers in their group. To initiate a message with another provider, click the Messages Tab and click +New Messages. Start typing the name of provider and select from the list.
A list of recent chats will be available on the left side of the messaging screen. To resume chat, click the name of the provider you are messaging.
If a provider is offline they will receive email notifications when they have a new message.
