Tasks can be created from multiple locations within TeleDent. Creating your task from the correct location will be important if you need your task to contain a link back to clinical data.
If you are creating a task that needs to be linked to clinical data (Review Clinical Data, Create a Treatment Plan...) you will need to create that task from within an Appointment.
To do this you will need to be in the appointment you wish to link to. Within the appointment you will click the Manage Tasks tab.
From the Manage Tasks tab you will select the task type, assign to a provider, set a priority and a due date and click Create Task. When you create the task, the assigned provider will receive an email alerting them that they have been assigned a task in TeleDent.
When the provider who has been assigned the task logs in to TeleDent, they will see the task on their dashboard and they will click View to see the details of the task.
In the task details they will click the View link which will take them directly into the appointment Review view.
