TeleDent patient records are living documents that can be remotely accessed by all the providers of a given practice. Access the Patient Page from your main navigation bar by clicking the patient icon.
On the Patient Page, you will see a left-hand side menu of all the patients in your practice. To pull up a specific patient record, click on the patient in the side menu, or use the search bar to locate them. You can also add a new patient by clicking “Add new patient.”
Select a patient name to see the entire patient record.
The patient record will have six associated tabs:
Patient Details: Here you find patient contact information, insurance information, emergency contact, general health information, assigned practice, and notes. You can also find the patient’s attached documents, such as consent forms, HIPAA forms, medical releases / restrictions, and medication list.
Appointments: Any appointment that has been created for this patient can be found here. The list can be filtered by upcoming, past, or all appointments. You can also create a new appointment from this tab. To read more about capturing data within an appointment, click here.
Collected Data: All clinical data for the patient will be displayed in this tab. Data is organized by the date it was collected and can be filtered by type. You can limit the amount of images visible by designating a time frame for the data.
Posting: Post new procedures codes for the patient and view all previous postings. You can also update the status of procedures.
Treatment Plans: Create a customized visual treatment plan to share with your patients. Include images, notes, and procedures to illustrate the proposed plan and explain the rationale behind it.
Tasks: Create new tasks associated with the patient and view all previous tasks associated with the patient.
