Tasks can be created from multiple points in TeleDent to accommodate your workflow, including through Quick Action, a patient details page, an appointment, or the Tasks Page. However, no matter what page the task originates from, the basics of creating a task remain the same.
In the provided panel, enter the following information:
- Task Type
- Provider
- Patient (if creating a task outside the patient or appointment page)
- Due Date
- Priority Level
- Task Details
Click “Create Task” to save.
No matter where you create your task, TeleDent will automatically notify the assigned user via email and update the Tasks panel on their Dashboard.
Note: The Quick Action task feature has the added benefit of allowing you to quickly create multiple tasks by selecting the checkbox “Add Another.” To read more on this feature, click here. |
Linking a Task to an Appointment
While there are many ways to create tasks in TeleDent, there is only one way to link a user's data to a specific task.
This can be done within the Manage Tasks tab of a patient appointment.
In the provided panel, enter the following information:
- Task Type
- Provider
- Due Date
- Priority Level
- Task Details
Click “Create Task.”
The task will now appear in the assigned user’s task list. When the provider views the task, a link to the patient appointment will be provided in the task detail panel.
