Once you have finished a task, you must mark it as complete in TeleDent. This becomes particularly important should you need to archive a patient. TeleDent will not enable archiving if there are open tasks associated with a patient or a patient’s appointment.
To mark a task as complete, locate and open the task. Depending on your workflow you might do this from one of the following locations:
- Dashboard Tasks Panel
- Tasks Page
- Tasks Tab of a Patient Record
- Tasks Tab in a Patient Appointment
Open the task and click “Mark as Complete.” If you’re accessing the task via the Dashboard Tasks panel, simply hover over the three dot icon and click “Done”.
While the task will be removed from your Tasks panel, you can still view it by filtering your tasks by “All Completed Tasks.”
Additionally, the task will still be visible on the patient record if the task is associated with a patient or an appointment.
Reactivate a task at any time by opening and clicking “Mark as Open.”
