One of the benefits of TeleDent video chat is the ability to capture data during a call.
You may capture recorded video as well as screen shots.
To record video during your chat, click the “Recording” button.
Once you begin recording, the “Recording” button will turn red and flash.
Select a screen for the recording.
To stop recording, click the “Recording” button.
Do not exit the video call until the recording has been uploaded. If you attempt to close out before the upload is complete, you will be notified.The recording will upload to the Media tab in your personal account.
To capture a screenshot during a video recording, click the camera icon on the screen you wish to capture.
The image will automatically upload to the Media tab of your personal account.
Storing Captured Data
After you exit the video chat room, TeleDent will ask you if you’d like to store captured data in a particular patient record.
To do so:
- Type the name of the patient in the field.
- Select the data you wish to store by clicking on the checkboxes.
- Click “Submit”.
Your data will now be found in the patient’s Collected Data tab of their record.
|Note: If you click “Skip this step” your data will be stored in the Media tab of your personal account.|
